‘All American’ Season 7 is almost here: Here’s how to watch, what to know about new cast

- Season 7 will focus on Jordan Baker, a friend of the show’s previous lead character, Spencer James.
- Six regular cast members, including Daniel Ezra, who played Spencer James, will not be returning for the new season.
- Viewers are encouraged to watch the first six seasons, available on Netflix, for context before starting Season 7.
The most-watched CW Network series is back for another season this year.
“All American,” which debuted on The CW Network in 2018, is a sports drama series inspired by the life of former New York Giants linebacker Spencer Paysinger, who is represented by the character Spencer James.
The series, which was the most-watched CW special last season, according to the network, begins during James’ teen years, in which he is a rising high school football star, chasing his dreams to become an NFL player.
Through the first six seasons, viewers watch James and his high school friends grow up. But by Season 7, a new set of characters and a new plot have developed, as James’ character is gone (and the actor who played him, Daniel Ezra). To provide clarity without spoilers, the character James does not die. The series just takes a new focus.
According to The CW Network, Season 7 of “All American” dives further into the life of James’ friend Jordan Baker (Michael Evans Behling).
